Shawn Feddeman

Vice President, Communications, NBC Owned Television Stations

Shawn Feddeman Cronin is the Vice President of Communications for NBC Owned Television Stations.  In this role, she oversees the media relations and communications strategy for the division of NBCUniversal that includes 10 local television stations and their digital channels and websites, as well as a group of out-of-home properties and a production company.


Feddeman joined NBCUniversal in June 2011 after working at Comcast for six years, where she was the Vice President of Public Relations for Comcast Cable’s Northeast Division.  At Comcast, she led a team responsible for media relations activities for one of the company’s three cable divisions.  Additionally, Feddeman served on the management team for the division, which employed more than 20,000 employees and served over six million customers.


Feddeman started her career with Comcast in June 2005, after working in Massachusetts politics for nearly a decade.  She was Press Secretary for Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney for three years, where she oversaw media operations and served as the primary spokesperson for the Governor and Lieutenant Governor.  Previously, Feddeman worked as a Deputy and Assistant Press Secretary for Governors Jane Swift and Paul Cellucci and as a Press Assistant for Governor William Weld’s bid for the United States Senate in 1996.


Feddeman received her BA in English and French from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.  She resides in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband and son.
