McClellan formerly served as Executive Vice President, Research & Program Strategy, Comcast Entertainment Group and played an integral role in driving ratings growth for E!, Style and G4 by evaluating current programming and new program opportunities. McClellan, who joined the company in 2002 as Vice President, Research, oversaw the network’s acquisition of the “Sex and the City” series and helped build E!’s “Movies We Love” franchise with key film acquisitions.
McClellan began her career in research at Twentieth Television creating marketing materials to distribute the company’s program assets working with all departments including sales, programming, and promotion. She moved into distribution as Director of the Western division servicing 108 broadcast television stations as well as working with Twentieth management on appropriate launch strategies for syndication programs. Prior to E!, she served as Director of Client Development at Frank Magid Associates, consulting program producers about viewer and market trends pertaining to television, and working closely with promotion and creative services on branding, marketing and execution strategies for the launch of a program, cable network or brand extension.
