Jamie French

French most recently served as Senior Director, NBC Entertainment Publicity, where he oversaw the successful media campaign for “The Voice,” which was the highest-rated series premiere among all television networks for the 2010-2011 season. In addition, he expertly managed strategies and campaigns for various high-profile Emmy-nominated series, including “Friday Night Lights,” “Parenthood,” and “The Event.” The driving publicity force behind the Emmy Award-winning series “Will & Grace,” French worked on “Chuck,” “Lipstick Jungle” and “Kings,” among other hit series. He also coordinated publicity efforts for Bravo’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” and “Boy Meets Boy.”
During his tenure at NBC, French became Director in 2005 after serving two years as Senior Press Manager and one year as Press Manager. From 1998-2002, he held the positions of Coordinator then Junior Publicist, where he assisted on campaigns such as “The West Wing,” “The Weakest Link” and “Providence.” French began his career in 1997 as a NBC Page in the NBC Page Program in Burbank, Calif.
A native of Branford, Conn., French holds a BA in communications and resides in Silver Lake, Calif.
