Senior Vice President of Marketing, Golf Channel

Regina O’Brien serves as senior vice president of marketing and brand management for Golf Channel.  An award-winning marketing communications specialist, O’Brien developed and currently oversees the on-air and online communications, creative and promotional strategy for the network since she joined Golf Channel in 2008.  Golf Channel marks O’Brien’s latest branding effort for Comcast where she played a significant marketing role in several corporate and network specific initiatives.   On the corporate end, O’Brien was a key member of the marketing team behind the “Comcastic” campaign which won the ADWEEK “Campaign of the Year,” as well as the Hispanic “Triple Play” initiative that won a “Best in Show.” She also was instrumental in the brand development for the launch of Sprout, and spearheaded the marketing strategy for the multi-platform horror network FEARnet – with the successful launch paving the way for FEARnet to become a linear network.  A former “40 under 40” selection by Multichannel News, O’Brien currently resides in Orlando, Fla.
