Dave Crossen
Senior Vice President of Human Resources, NBC Owned Television Stations
Dave Crossen is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for NBC Owned Television Stations. In this role, Crossen is responsible for all aspects of human resources for the more than 2,000 employees that comprise the company’s ten owned television stations; its associated online properties and digital out-of-home division; the local lifestyle programming production company, LX.TV; and the in-house marketing and promotion company.
Crossen has more than 20 years of human resources experience, including over eight years at NBCUniversal. Prior to his current role, he was the Vice President of NBCUniversal Integrated Media and International Television from 2004 to 2007, where he was charged with overseeing a team of human resources professionals supporting over 2,000 employees globally. Before that position, Crossen was tapped for an 18-month assignment as the human resources leader dedicated to the merger between NBC and Universal. He started with the company in 2003 as the Vice President of Organization and Staffing.
Crossen joined NBC from GE, where he worked as the human resources leader for GE Asset Management, an investment company responsible for the management of over $200 billion in pension, client and insurance company assets, from 2000 to 2003. Previously, he held organizational development and training roles with GE Global Consumer Finance, GE Insurance Holdings and GE Management Development Center. Crossen’s career with GE began in 1992 when he joined GE Capital in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
Crossen holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Manchester and was awarded an IPD (Institute of Personnel and Development) Diploma in 1993. He resides in New York City with his wife.
