Marc Greenstein
Vice President, Creative Production Design, MSNBC
Marc Greenstein is Creative Director of MSNBC, and was appointed to this position in November 2008. In this role, Greenstein oversees the overall look of the network, including graphics and set design, as well as MSNBC’s directors and on-air promotions. Greenstein recently directed MSNBC’s election night coverage and MSNBC’s coverage of the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. He also oversaw the creation and launch of MSNBC’s 30 Rock studios in 2007. He is also responsible for directing Weekend Today as well as filling in on Today.
Greenstein began his work with MSNBC in 1996 as part of the network’s original launch team. He then did a short stint in sports broadcasting before returning to the network in 2000. Prior to joining MSNBC, Greenstein served as coordinating director for XETV, FOX6 in San Diego, where he launched their news division and built the creative and technical infrastructure. Prior to that, he served as a director for NBC’s Owned and Operated station WTVJ in Miami.
Greenstein has won multiple Emmy Awards, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and was recently named BDA winner for the MSNBC newsroom.
