Jackie Bradford

President and General Manager of NBC4 Washington, NBC Owned Television Stations

Jackie Bradford is President and General Manager of NBC4 / WRC, the NBC-owned station in Washington, D.C.  Bradford’s appointment in 2010 marked her return to NBC4, where she had previously served as the station’s Director of Finance for eight years.

Bradford’s career began on Capitol Hill in the office of U.S. Senator Richard Bryan of Nevada.  She then joined General Electric’s prestigious Financial Management Program where she held various financial positions with GE Real Estate, GE Money and Corporate Treasury.  After completion of that program, she worked at “TODAY” and “NBC Nightly News” in finance roles.

A job with GE Capital Real Estate Services brought Bradford back to her native Washington area, after which she accepted the position of Finance Director at NBC4 in 2000.  At the station, Bradford served as the co-growth leader, working closely with a team of station employees to identify new revenue and partnership opportunities for the station.

In 2008, Bradford was promoted to President and General Manager of KNSD, the NBC-owned station in San Diego.  During her two-and-a-half years in that role, she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the station as well as its online and digital platforms.

In returning to NBC4 in her current role, Bradford has overseen the station’s continued dominance as the most highly rated station in Washington.  Under her tenure, and through an infusion of resources by NBCUniversal, the station has opened two regional bureaus, launched an investigative team, refocused the station’s community advisory board and created an employee culture that focuses on engagement and feedback.

Bradford serves on the board of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Washington Board of Trade and the Greater Washington Urban League.

Bradford earned a BS in Business from the University of Virginia.  She resides in Washington, D.C. and is an avid tennis player.
