Tina Silvestri

Senior Vice President of Operations, NBC Owned Television Stations

Tina Silvestri is the Senior Vice President of Operations for NBC Owned Television Stations, the division of NBCUniversal that oversees the 10 television stations the company owns as well as its new national multicast network, COZI TV (www.cozitv.com).  In this role, Silvestri is responsible for the operational processes across the division, focusing on local sales and news operations, and manages the division’s technology group, working on the development, tracking and analyzing of key business metrics for the local marketplace.


Silvestri has worked at NBCUniversal for more than 15 years, primarily for the NBC-owned station group.  She was promoted to her current role in 2009, after serving as the Senior Vice President of Sales Operations, where she managed the research function and worked closely with the sales team to streamline sales systems and processes.  Silvestri previously was Vice President of Research and before that Director of News Digitization Projects, a role she earned after serving as Research Director at WNBC for three years.  Earlier, she worked as a Project Manager and a Research Manager for Sales and Marketing Division for the NBC-owned stations.


Before joining NBCUniversal, Silvestri worked for six years at Harrington, Righter & Parsons, a sales representative firm, first as a Research Analyst and then as a Research Director, where she was responsible for the NBC Sales research account


Silvestri graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook with a BA in Sociology.  She resides in New York City with her husband.
