Susan Malfa is Senior Vice President of Sales for Bravo Media, Oxygen Media and Women at NBCU. Susan’s strategic approach to selling both on-air and digital platforms is informed by audience insights, augmenting value to advertisers by following the viewer to all content touch points. Her innovative thinking has not only resulted in game-changing sales concepts, such Bravo’s 4D and the Infoframe and innovative transmedia deals, but also led to her being tapped to spearhead the sales effort for Women at NBCU, a cross-portfolio sales and marketing initiative for which she has unlocked incremental value with clients including General Mills, Pepsi and American Express.



Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Malfa was Senior Vice President of Ad Sales at Court TV Network, where she brought ROI effectiveness metrics to agency partners. She spent 10 years at Comedy Central, during which she advanced from Director to Senior Vice President of Ad Sales. Earlier in her career, she worked at Travel Channel, Food Network, and in agency account management.



Malfa is a member of Advertising Women of New York and was a Cablefax Most Powerful Woman in Cable 2009 honoree. She graduated Queens College with a BA in art and a minor in economics. A weekend gardener and painter, Malfa lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
