Robert Juster
Head of Digital, Esquire Network
As Head of Digital for Esquire Network, Juster oversees all design, product development and planning, user experience, content, programming, and execution of all non-linear and new media platforms for the Esquire Network brand. In his role, he is responsible for developing content strategies for the network’s website at EsquireTV.com as well as the brand’s presence on social, mobile and other emerging technologies.
Prior to Esquire Network, Juster was Vice President of New Media & Interactive for G4, where he was responsible for transforming G4TV.com from a brochure-ware TV website into one of the leading videogame information portals. In his role, Juster developed and implemented online sponsorship and partnership programs with clients such as Activision, Dell, Electronic Arts, Ford, Microsoft, and Sony. He also spearheaded the use of social media at G4, driving massive engagement with gamers and G4 fans, and forged on-air and online partnerships with Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and others.
Before he was named Vice President, Juster served as Executive Producer for Interactive at G4, where he developed award-winning content that drove dramatic year-to-year growth. He introduced interactive applications for network shows including “Attack of the Show,” Banzai” and “Star Trek 2.0” that powered viewer interactions, and developed podcasting that landed G4 podcasts several spots on the iTunes Top 25. As part of his role, he also executed strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Apple, AOL, MSN, XBOX.com, Yahoo! and more that helped build network awareness and demand while generating supplemental revenue streams through content licensing and sales.
Before joining the Interactive division at G4, Juster served in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility, including Director of Strategic Programming and Business Development. He began his career at G4 in 2001 in Advertising and Affiliate Marketing, where he worked directly with local cable affiliates for the launch of G4 while developing other off-channel programs.
Juster’s work on G4TV.com has earned more than a dozen awards, including several Webby and Telly Awards. In 2004, Juster was named one of Advertising Age magazine’s “25 Twenty-Somethings to Watch Out For.”
