Erin Underhill
Senior Vice President, Drama, Universal Television
Prior to that, Underhill was Senior Vice President, Current Programming, NBC and Universal Media Studios (the previous name of Universal Television) since August 2010. Underhill recently oversaw such new series as the dramas “The Playboy Club,” “Awake,” “Parenthood,” “Chase” and the anthology series “Love Bites.” She earlier developed “Southland,” “Heroes,” “Chuck” and “Friday Night Lights” for NBC.
Underhill previously was Vice President, Drama Development, at NBC and she also served then as Vice President, Current Series. During that period, she oversaw such shows as “The West Wing,” “ER,” “American Dreams” and “Third Watch.”
Underhill also was Director, Current Series, where she handled many of the same series that she later supervised as Vice President. She was named an Associate in Drama Development in January 2000, and later Manager of Current Series in August 2000.
Underhill resides with her family in Los Angeles and is a graduate of UCLA.
