Tuss has spent the last eight years at WTOP Radio, mostly reporting on transportation issues as part of the station’s Sprawl and Crawl franchise.
“Adam has distinguished himself in Washington as an enterprising reporter who breaks stories in one of the most important beats in our region,” Bradford said. “Transportation issues are critically important to our viewers, and we think it makes a lot of sense to dedicate a reporter to covering them.”
In addition to reporting for WTOP, Tuss is frequently called on as an expert in local transportation issues. He wrote a column called “Overdrive” for The Washington Examiner and has spoken to a number of organizations about transportation safety issues. He has also received numerous awards for his reporting.
“Everyone cares about transportation in this area, and there are so many stories to tell,” Tuss said. “I am thrilled to pursue this exciting new opportunity with such a respected organization.”
