As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for MSNBC, Pietrycha developed a two-year strategic plan highlighting a $100+ million growth opportunity for MSNBC. In addition, he led the analysis in support of key investment decisions to launch a new primetime show as well as a two-year marketing campaign for the MSNBC brand. Pietrycha also collaborated closely with the MSNBC sales and marketing teams in effort to expand market segmentation to target non-traditional sales.
Prior to his role as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for MSNBC, Pietrycha spent five years working within the NBC Owned Stations division serving in various finance roles. In 2010, Pietrycha completed General Electric’s Experienced Financial Leadership Program. Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Pietrycha completed the Financial Leadership Development Program at BAE Systems, a global defense, security and aerospace company.
Pietrycha received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Anselm College and his M.B.A. from Bentley College.
