Rashel and Guad will be on location in Russia bringing Spanish-speaking viewers the world’s premiere beauty pageant “Miss Universe” in their language. In recent years, a succession of Latin American contestants hastaken home the crown: Ximena Navarrete (Mexico), Stefanía Fernández and Dayana Mendoza (Venezuela), Zuleyka Rivera (Puerto Rico) and Justine Pasek (Panama). On this magical evening, contestants representing countriesaround the world will appear before millions of viewers in the famous bathing suit and evening gown competitions, doing their best to charm the judges to be named Miss Universe 2013.
Exclusively on Telemundo, audiences will have the opportunity to see the Latina contestants up close and personal an hour before the start of the pageant on “Camino a la Corona,” a Telemundo special produced and filmed entirely on location in Russia. During the pre-pageant preparations, Mónica Noguera will haveexclusive access to all of the Latina participants, sharing their secrets and ambitions before they take the stage to compete for the coveted honor of being known as the most beautiful woman in the universe.
