NBCUNIVERSAL CABLE ENTERTAINMENT NAMES STEVE DOLCEMASCHIO PRESIDENT OF ITS REALITY STUDIO

Los Angeles, November 30, 2011 – NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment has appointed longtime E! Entertainment executive Steve Dolcemaschio as President of its reality studio, currently known as Comcast Entertainment Studios, reporting to Bonnie Hammer, Chairman of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment and Cable Studios. The studio will be renamed in early 2012. In his new role, Dolcemaschio will assume oversight of the production studio, which develops and produces reality and topical programs for varied cable networks, including E!’s “The Soup”, “Fashion Police” and “Ice Loves Coco,” The Style Network’s “Giuliana & Bill” and GSN’s “Baggage.”

Dolcemaschio will transition out of his role as E! Entertainment COO over the next several months as he takes on oversight of the studio. Jay James, Executive Vice President, Development, will continue to head up studio development and report to Dolcemaschio.

Dolcemaschio is an 11-year veteran of the E! Entertainment senior management team, and has served as COO for the past six years. He has overseen numerous areas of the company's business, including Production Operations, Tech Operations, Business & Legal Affairs, Business Development, Finance, Facilities and Human Resources. Throughout his tenure, Dolcemaschio has worked closely with the network's various operating divisions.

Prior to joining E! in 2000, Dolcemaschio worked as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer for BBDO West in Los Angeles and San Francisco. In this role, he served as a key business advisor to the company’s President and Chief Creative Officer and directed the agency's financial and operational functions.

Dolcemaschio received a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
