LOS ANGELES – May 30, 2012 – Style Media has appointed Alicia Muntzner to the newly created position of Vice President, Advertising Sales for the cable network.  In this position, Muntzner will head up Style Media’s first dedicated sales team, leading Style into the 2012-13 Upfront season. Muntzner, who joins Style from USA Network where she served as Director, Advertising Sales, is based in New York, and will report to Susan Malfa, Senior Vice President, Ad Sales for Bravo Media, Oxygen Media, Style Media and Women At NBCU and Salaam Coleman Smith, President, Style Media.

“With a proven tenure within the NBCUniversal family, Alicia’s experience, knowledge and relationships within the ad sales community are integral to this position and Style’s continued success as the fastest growing cable network,” said Malfa.

Muntzner has been part of the NBCUniversal family for more than 17 years, having led the day-to-day New York sales teams at USA Network. While at USA, Muntzner helped to develop key marketing relationships and multiplatform partnerships with blue chip advertisers, driving year-over-year revenue increases for the network’s New York teams. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Sales Planning for USA Network, a role she held for nearly five years having been promotedfrom Director, Sales Planning & Stewardship. She began her career at NBCUniversal in 1995 as EDI Coordinator prior to joining NBCU she worked on the agency side at Chiat/Day Advertising.

Muntzner holds a BA in Political Science and French from Grinnell College and a Deuxieme Degree from the University of Strasbourg.  She resides in Port Washington, New York with her husband and two children.
