UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – October 31, 2013 – The Barclays Premier League continues on mun2, presented by Deportes Telemundo, with a can’t-miss doubleheader live, coast-to-coast this Saturday, November 2 starting at 10:55 a.m. EST/7:55 a.m. PST. Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez will attempt to duplicate his clutch performances during the past week as Manchester United visits Fulham at 10:55 a.m. EST/7:55 a.m. PST. The twin bill continues with the Barclays Premier League’s top spot potentially on the line as first place Arsenal faces third place Liverpool at 1:25 p.m. EST/10:25 a.m. PST. Sammy Sadovnik will be on the call with former Chivas and Mexican National Team player Manuel Sol during both matches.
Manchester United is currently riding an emotional high thanks largely in part to Chicharito, who capped off a stirring comeback victory with a game-winning goal in the 80th minute to defeat Stoke City by a score of 3-2 last Saturday, in a match that could also be seen on mun2, and followed up that effort with another brilliant outing on Tuesday night scoring twice in the Red Devils’ 4-0 romp of Norwich City in the FA Cup. Meanwhile, Fulham will go for the upset by relying on a formidable attacking duo composed by Costa Rican Bryan Ruiz and Dimitar Berbatov.
The second match of the doubleheader features one of the Barclays Premier League’s most traditional rivalries, as the Gunners look to solidify their place at the top of the league with 22 points. However, Liverpool follows close behind with 20 points and could leapfrog their opponent with a win this Saturday. Arsenal currently boasts the second highest scoring offense in the league with 20 goals in nine matches, behind only Manchester City with 21, thanks in large part to Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey, who have five goals each, and the creative prowess of newly arrived Mesut Ozil.
Liverpool also has firepower of its own with one of the most lethal combinations in worldwide soccer, as Daniel Sturridge and Uruguay’s Luis Suarez have scored 14 of the Reds’17 goals so far in the tournament. Sturridge is currently the league’s top scorer, while Suarez has scored his six goals in just four matches after serving a six-game suspension to start the season.
